"I recently had the chance to eat at Planet Pizza, and it ended up being one of the better casual dining experiences I’ve had in a while. Overall, I’d comfortably put it in the $20–30 per person range, and for what you get, it feels completely worth it. The food was honestly the highlight—definitely a 5/5. The pizza came out fresh, hot, and perfectly cooked with a crispy crust and really flavorful toppings. Everything tasted high quality, not rushed or thrown together like you sometimes get at other pizza spots. You can tell they put real care into what they’re serving. Service was also a solid 5/5. The staff was friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and everything moved quickly. There was no wait at all when I went, which made the experience even smoother. The atmosphere gets a 4/5 from me. It’s a nice, relaxed environment that’s quiet enough to actually have a conversation without yelling, which is a big plus. It works well whether you’re going alone, with one other person, or even in a group of up to 5–8 people. Parking is super easy too—there’s plenty of space available with both a free parking lot and free street parking, so you don’t have to stress about finding a spot. I’m not completely sure about the vegetarian options, so that might be something to check ahead of time if that matters to you. But aside from that, Planet Pizza really delivers across the board. Overall, great food, great service, and a comfortable vibe. I’d definitely recommend it and would go back again without hesitation."

This is a family-run restaurant that serves up a menu chalked with delicious options. I got the Philly cheesesteak, Minestrone, and Pasta Fagioli soups, and man…they were all fantastic. The Philly cheesesteak was exactly what you want it to be: tender meat, melted cheese, perfectly griddled onions, and a roll that actually held up under the weight of everything. No frills, just executed right. The soups, though—that’s where this place really showed its hand. Both the Minestrone and Pasta Fagioli had that unmistakable quality of recipes passed down through generations. The kind of depth and balance you only get when someone’s grandmother taught them how to layer flavors over hours, not minutes. This isn’t food that can be mass-produced or replicated by a corporate test kitchen. This is the real deal: ingredients treated with care, dishes made the way they’re supposed to be made, and flavors that taste like they’ve been refined over decades. If you find yourself anywhere near Monroe, Planet Pizza is worth the detour. Family-run restaurants like this are getting harder to find, and when you stumble onto one this good, you don’t take it for granted."
